Envision Simi Valley is a grant funded project that will create a community vision for the development of areas of Los Angeles Avenue and Tapo Street, including the provision of new housing, commercial, and recreational opportunities. The project will also update to the City’s economic development strategy for these two areas to meet the future needs of residents, businesses, and visitors.

Develop standards or pre-approved site and architectural plans that facilitate nondiscretionary permitting for residential and mixed-use projects throughout the City

The Envision Simi Valley Specific Plan provides zoning and development standards and plan-level environmental analysis to two neighborhoods that can be used to improve housing capacity, streamline future housing projects and facilitate affordability
